BuzzCast recording glossary
Plain-language definitions used across BuzzCastRec guides, catalog pages and Telegram messages.
- BuzzCast ID
- The stable public identifier shown by BuzzCast. BuzzCastRec prefers it over a changeable nickname.
- HLS
- HTTP Live Streaming: a playlist and sequence of media segments commonly used by public BuzzCast streams.
- Live container
- The media container exposed by a supported public source, such as HLS transport-stream segments.
- Watchlist
- The creator IDs that BuzzCastRec monitors for future eligible public lives.
- Manual recording
- A one-time recording requested with /rec and governed by the plan's simultaneous manual-recording limit.
- Player cover
- A single image attached to a Telegram video for player preview.
- Contact sheet
- A timestamped grid sampled across the video and delivered in the same Telegram album.
- Public archive unlock
- A request to deliver one available catalog recording through the bot. Free includes 3 and paid plans include 100 per rolling 24 hours.
- Recording availability
- The current ability to deliver a catalog recording after BuzzCastRec verifies that the completed media remains accessible.
